Phase2 Advantage offers instructor-led online cyber security courses for individuals who are not able to attend classroom-based certification programs. This format allows students to engage knowledgeable instructors in a live interactive environment anywhere in the world without travel expenses.

These online courses include the same textbooks, work books, and lab textbooks used for classroom instruction.  Upon successful completion of the course and proctored examination, students will earn the Course Certification and receive a 40-Hour CPE Credit Certificate. The exam certification and CPE documents are mailed to the students via USPS 2-Day mail within 72-hours of completing the exam.

We currently offer four cyber security courses in the instructor-led online format: Certified Cyber Incident Response Manager, Certified Cyber Security Operations Manager, Certified Disaster Response and Recovery Manager, and Certified Network Forensic Analysis Manager.  

Certified Cyber Incident Response Manager (C-CIRM)

The Network Forensic Analysis Manager self-study course was originally developed for the U.S. government, and has now been made available to city, county, and state law enforcement agencies. Civilian personnel outside of the law enforcement community are also authorized to attend and will receive practical training for their business environments.  Students will be provided with both experiential knowledge and practical skills that simulate real-world scenarios, investigations, and recovery of evidentiary data in systems and networks.

Certified Vulnerability Assessment Specialist (C-VAS)

The Certified Vulnerability Assessment Specialist training course combines proven techniques and a diverse body of knowledge with industry best practices developed to ensure the highest probability of successful remediation outcomes. Students will be presented with 16 detailed learning domains covering topics such as Threat Intelligence and Analysis, Selecting Risk Measurement Standards, Identifying Vulnerability States, and Vulnerability Management Architecture. Practical lab exercises utilize Nmap, a network exploration and security auditing tool used in real-world assessments.
