Requirements for Certification Renewal

Phase2 Advantage certifications require renewal every three years. Renewal requests are accepted six months prior to the expiration date of the certification. The purpose of certification renewal is to demonstrate ongoing competency in Information Security / Cyber Security disciplines.

Phase2 Advantage certifications are maintained by using one of two methods:

      • Taking a Phase2 Advantage certification course of equal or greater CPE credit
      • Earning CPE credit equal to (or greater than) the Phase2 Advantage certification from approved certification providers

Individuals with Phase2 Advantage certifications are encouraged to submit their CPE documentation at least 90 days prior to the certification expiration date. Please allow 30 days for the submission to be reviewed; notification that the CPE renewal request has been approved will be made within 30 days of the approval date.

CPE submissions must be complete with all supporting documentation prior to the expiration of the certification. A non-refundable renewal processing fee of $400 is required for each submission.

Submissions that are incomplete, or lack the required supporting documentation, will be rejected and will require re submission once all requirements have been gathered.

Please submit all certification renewal packets to the office address listed below. Individuals that wish to take a Phase2 Advantage certification course of equal or greater credit can visit the Training Schedule to view available courses and dates.
