Tips for Classroom Students

Helpful Tips for Classroom Students

PLEASE START STUDYING: You will be provided a large amount of course material: Student Workbook, Terms and Definitions, Video Lecture Series, Course Prep Guide, Exam Prep Guide, and an Exam Simulator. Please start reviewing these online materials immediately upon receiving them. The certification examination will be offered on the last day of the course, the pace of delivery of the content will be intensive, and an understanding of the basic course content / concepts will greatly increase your probability of a successful outcome.

PLEASE DRESS COMFORTABLY: Dress comfortably (jeans are fine) and appropriately for the weather. We want you to dress in a way that makes you comfortable during the training. We know you’re going to represent your organization professionally; the clothes you wear won’t change that. Additionally, please wear comfortable shoes. You won’t be spending all day in the classroom, and we want you to be comfortable during our field training component each day.

SPECIAL FOOD REQUIREMENTS: We will have a 1-hour lunch each day at a restaurant located near the training center (included in course fee). Free snacks and beverages (doughnuts, chips, fresh fruit, sweets, water, juice and soda) will also be available throughout the entire training day. If you have any special dietary needs for any reason, please advise us in advance so accommodations can be made accordingly. We don’t want you to be hungry while everyone else is well-fed.
